About Us
Mission Statment:
Our mission is to provide a lifegiving environment and to celebrate the uniqueness of each child in our care.
We work to maintain an atmosphere that draws children to Jesus and cultivates a desire to learn. Our staff members are carefully chosen. They are here because they feel it is their purpose and passion to care for children.
Learning is fun! We intend to spread the joy of learning to our children by learning through structured daily activities. We ensure that students are meeting developmental milestones and are being challenged at an age-appropriate level. We also use differentiated instruction to ensure that each child learns at their own pace.

Our Teaching Philosophy
At the River of Life Early Learning Center, we believe that children learn best by experiencing the world around them. We offer many different types of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and opportunities for young children. Play is a very important part of a child’s learning process. Jean Piaget, a child development theorist, describes play as a child’s work. During play, a child develops emotionally, socially, physically, cognitively, creatively, and spiritually.
We strive to provide a safe, warm environment that is conducive for learning while at the same time fun, attractive, and stimulating to the children. Providing opportunities and experiences for each individual child is accomplished through weekly unit themes that are supported by hands-on activities in the curriculum, areas of language arts, math, science, dramatic play, music/movement, faith development, and special activities.
